Meme Remix ("we", "us") runs memeremix.ai, a browser-based service that turns a photo you upload into a short meme video from a template.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country if higher. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the photos you upload and the videos you make and share.
3. The Service
Making a video requires signing in and uses credits from your balance.
Videos are AI-generated and synthetic. We do not guarantee any particular result. Generated videos are kept for 14 days; download the ones you want to keep. Features and templates may change at any time.
The AI models we use: videos are generated with Wan 3.0 (Alibaba); the first frame of a template scene is composed with Seedream 5.0 Flash (ByteDance); uploaded photos are safety-checked with Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite (Google). We access these models through OpenRouter. Meme Remix is not affiliated with or endorsed by these model providers.
Meme Remix animates a photo of you, of someone who has authorised you, or of your pet into a template meme effect. It does not offer face swapping, does not put one real person’s face or identity onto another, does not create nude or sexual images of real people, does not place two real people in intimate scenes, and does not make anyone appear to say things.
4. Access and pricing
Browsing is free. Making a video requires signing in and uses credits from your balance: 2 credits per second at 480p and 4 per second in HD, so a 5-second 480p video is 10 credits. Each template shows its length and price before you make it. New accounts get 20 free credits; videos made with them carry a watermark. Credits come in one-time packs or monthly plans, as shown on the pricing page.
We may rate-limit use to keep the service running. If a video fails to generate, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
5. Billing, credit validity, and refunds
Prices are in US dollars. Waffo Pancake is the merchant of record for all purchases, handles checkout and tax, and its own terms apply to the payment.
Credit packs are one-time purchases: they do not renew, and credits from one-time packs never expire. Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; the plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for. Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing month.
All purchases are final, except: videos that failed to generate, successful payments whose videos never arrived, duplicate charges, and rights you have under mandatory consumer law. Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank.
6. Your photos and videos
You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the videos you make. You give us a limited licence to process them only to provide the service.
You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for every photo you upload. We do not train AI models on your photos or videos.
You may only upload photos of yourself, of an adult who has given you permission to use their photo, or of your own pet. Do not upload photos or recordings of other people without their consent, photos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures, or photos of anyone under 18. Before each video you confirm that the photo is of you or that you have the person’s permission.
7. Content standards and prohibited categories
The following six categories are prohibited, and you may not use Meme Remix to create, upload or share them:
1. Sexual content: nudity, pornography or sexually explicit material. 2. Violence: graphic violence, gore, or content promoting harm. 3. Hate: hate speech, harassment, or content attacking people for who they are. 4. Child safety: any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors. 5. Deepfakes and impersonation: face swaps, putting one real person’s face or identity on another, nude or sexualised images of real people, real people placed in intimate scenes (such as kissing or embracing), and making real people, especially public figures, appear to say or do things they did not. These are prohibited whether or not the people shown have agreed. 6. Infringement: content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other people’s rights.
8. Other prohibited conduct
You may not use the service unlawfully, scrape or disrupt it, bypass its safety or usage controls, or resell its outputs as a competing service.
9. Reporting violations and how we moderate
Report content with the Report button on any gallery video, or email support@memeremix.ai with "Content report" in the subject line. Reports are read by a person. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Moderation has four layers: every uploaded photo is checked automatically before a video is made, and photos of minors or nudity are blocked; every generated video is checked automatically before it is shown to you, and videos that break these Terms are withheld; a person reviews every video submitted to the gallery and every report, and gallery videos are scanned again after they are published; and we enforce these Terms as described under "Enforcement and content removal". We keep records of automated checks and human reviews.
10. Intellectual property
Meme Remix owns its brand and software.
You may use your videos for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. We claim no ownership of your outputs. You are responsible for avoiding infringement and for labelling AI content where required. Use is also subject to our providers' terms.
Every video made on Meme Remix is AI-generated. Videos made with free credits carry a visible memeremix.ai mark. When you share a video, do not present it as real footage.
11. Third-party services
Hosting, video generation and payments rely on third parties, who receive the data needed to deliver your results.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, uptime or data preservation.
13. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or USD 50.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Meme Remix against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Enforcement and content removal
If you break these Terms we may take proportionate action: warnings, removing content (including from the gallery), rate limits, suspending or permanently closing your account, forfeiting remaining credits, and reporting to law enforcement where required. Content involving the sexual exploitation of minors is removed and reported.
You can appeal within 30 days by emailing support@memeremix.ai with "Appeal" in the subject line.
16. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Remaining credits may be forfeited on breach. After closure, your data is deleted.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will change the "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
18. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may assign these Terms. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Meme Remix principally operates. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
